Tuesday Tea Dance

Actually this comes as close to a Tea Dance than anything in Hawaii. A Tea Dance is usually at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon and runs to about 7, so you are home for dinner at eight. Usually for the Leisure class. Our Tea Dances have usually been most successful as after work, happy hour affairs.

In our particular situation, it benefits mostly those who live in the various bedroom communities around Honolulu. The traffic going home is terrible. Thousands of cars on the freeways.

A night in the middle of the week, to get off work, snack, drink, dance and socialize with your fellow dancers would be highly welcomed. Going home at eight or so would be a breeze.

For Sundays in March, Sharon has planned a ballroom workshop series on Foxtrot subjects 2-3pm followed by a practice session 3-4pm (see flier for more info). This is a program intended for committed dancers (International style). Sharon is working with the Ilikai to bring variety of dance classes to social dancers.  Stay tuned for update on that.
