In 2015, it is likely that our current fast-paced lives will be faster. Maybe our already stressful lives will be more stressful. In our anger and stress, sometimes, we look for things to vent our anger. We could be tearing our dresses, breaking some furniture, etc. But what if you could break something which becomes useful? This ceremic salt and pepper shaker is the solution! Fragile comes as a piece, and after breaking the shaker into half, you make it useful. Also ideal for those living a stressful life.

Thoughts: These designs are beautiful. We love these designs. And as we were looking at these designs, there seemed to be two main themes that these products were designed. First is the environment. Mother Nature. Take a look at the Leaf-shaped spoon and Din-ink. The former wants to remind us of the blessings of nature whilst the latter uses bio-degradable materials. This leads to some questions we're asking ourselves. At 2015, what will the environment be like? Will the greenery be extinct?
The second theme has something to do with work and the fast paced stressful lifestyle that we're living. It seems that in 2015, our lifestyle will be so hectic that we may not even have the time to leave our work station. How will our lifetyle be in 2015?
Just some thoughts as we see these beautiful designs.

Louis Vuitton has launched their City Guide 08, which is in a yellow saffron-yellow rigid box. There is the New York English version which contains over 200 pages listing 500 addresses in the Big Apple. The price: $47.
There is also the Eurpoe Guide, which covers all major cities such as London, Paris and Athens. Altogether, there are 9 booklets containing approximately 7500 adresses and it will cost $98.

Barcelonan designer, Jordi Canudas presented his new design WALLFA at the D3 Contest at the Imm Cologne 2008. WALLFA is a 2-sided piece of furniture that is both a wall and a sofa combined. Wallfa is an intriguing two sided piece of furniture that is both wall and sofa. It offers a comfortable sitting area that becomes playful when users interact from both sides of the wall. Movement, sound and touch hint at what might be happening on the other side.
Interesting concept! seems like quite good for our posture too.

World's most expensive beer
Carlsberg has launched the Vintage No 1 brew, a speciality beer. The beer contains hints of prune, caramel, vanilla and oak tree from the French and Swedish wooden casks in which it is stored. It has a chestnut brown color, little foam and goes well with cheeses and desserts, said Jens Ekin, brew master at the Jacobsen microbrewery in Copenhagen.
Costing about $400 per 37.5 centiliters bottle, it's probably the most expensive beer in the world.

Public toilets in Gravesend, Kent
Public toilets in Gravesend (a small town on the River Thames in Kent). In short, the idea was to provide a new toilet facility on the edge of a car park within the Lord Street / Parrock Street regeneration area Gravesham Borough Council required the building to be an eye-catching, 'minor-landmark' as a centrepiece to the adopted masterplan for the area. The basic form of the building is derived from the slope of the topography and the geometry of the site. The roof form is a distorted and inverted cantilevered pyramid, consisting of four triangular facets that meet in the lobby space.
Four faceted structural walls and two distorted columns are positioned to allow the roof seams to lead directly to the primary internal spaces - visually connecting the heart of the building to each corner. A single triangular roof-light was positioned along one seam in the heart of the plan, allowing the entrance space to be awash with natural daylight.
This project is carried out by Plastik Architects and it's probably the coolest public toilet exterior I have ever seen! What about you?
