Dance Hawaii, Good Start

From Frank Sierra's remarks in his blogs to just hearsay, Washington Intermediate and St Louis Clubhouse are going to be doing very well with their dance classes. More people that live in the vicinity could look into this.

"Rock music in its lyrics often talks ahead of the time about what's going on in the country." ~Edmund G. Brown

The first group was Dance Honolulu at Washington School on Monday nights. These are International lessons, with Line Dancing at 6 PM led by Roxanne Kaino, a teacher at the school.

At 7 PM, Reggie Gascon and Gayle Kawahakui take over with International Rumba and at 8 PM the International Waltz. This will probably be well covered by Jimbo Johnson. I will have to take a look/see myself. I haven't been to See Dai Doo society in months on a Monday night.

Over at the St Louis Alumni Club House, Dance St Louis had American Social lessons on Tuesday. Roxanne led it off again with Line Dancing. This was followed by the Night Club Two Step by Cullen and Cheryl Chang. Then Robert and Vanelle Hirayasu took over the next class with the Argentine Tango. This is about as Social as you can get, terrific. It's the first quarter at the Club House.

When you sign up you get all three classes at the location for a $5 Membership and $10 class fee. Membership will be good until 1 Jan 2011. The 10 bucks gets you the Line Dancing and the two Ballroom Dances as a package deal for 8 lesson at that location.
