"Into each life a little rain must fall"
Thursday evening started out OK, missed a few items along the day, but otherwise did my work. Got ready for the big trip to Honolulu. It was already dark, but as per usual, but I could still see the remains of what must have been a beautiful sunset.

The bus, late as per usual and then just leaving Kapolei, I noticed the rain. By the time we got to Waipahu, it was raining pitchforks and shovel handles. Fortunately it began to taper off as we approached Honolulu. I got to Ala Moana and it was just sprinkling and just in time to get the #8 bus to Waikiki. Got off early and went in through the back to the parking lot. I am beginning to know my way around there. A short walk and I am at the Tapa Tower.
Nice people at the reception and I passed through. Met Geoffrey and he reassured me that I could take the pictures at my pleasure. But easy to get a couple, difficult to get a group. I kept going around and around. Nice dancing and the usual terrific exhibitions.
"How High The Moon" by Les Paul and Mary Ford
Met Emi Matsuoka, and she gave me a couple copies of her poster which I will include in the next blog. I will probably make one with more color for my good friends in the Salsa circles. We are getting Salsa into the blogs.
My long time friends Leo and Virgie came in. Hadn't seen them in while. Not too many local people, don't know why. Was able to give away some of my advertising key chains to a few people.
"Three Coins In The Fountain" by the Four Aces
Everything else was disappointing to say the least. Tried to get a photo of a nice table with what seemed like local people and I could see the dollar signs in their eyes. (How much?) They just very politely declined. Can't blame them with everyone out to make a buck.
I ended up getting one of Yanna in exhibition but not very good. Then one of the dancers on the dance floor, still not so good. A third one of the Competiton dancers waiting to go on. Wes showed me some good ones that he took and will emailed to me and I can insert them in here. And embellish the blog.
"I Can Dream, Can't I?" by the Andrews Sisters.
My carriage turns into a pumpkin if I don't leave at ten. Got the bike on the "E" bus just fine and got to Waipahu on time. But then the #40 got there late and with two bikes on a two bike rack. He seemed to be in a hurry so I told him I would wait for the next one.
Cold and sprinkling rain. I took the #42 bus going to town and got off at Pearlridge. The next #40 arrived also with two bikes on it. This time I asked him to wait and I locked the bike to a post, got on the bus and got home way past midnight.
