FURLOUGH FRIDAY SOCIAL DANCE

I was not able to attend the Furlough Friday Social Dance at Radford HS this last Friday. I had a Family thing that I had to attend. Frank has a good write up in his blog. Please check it out by clicking on to to his site to the right. I also received Maurice's News Letter yesterday and he said they had about 70 dancers in attendance and they were able to collect $110 for the school.

So we need to say thank you to all those that donated and care about our schools. I know it doesn't sound like a lot of money. But every little bits helps. This will benefit the Radford HS Athletic Program and allow more students to take part.


The next Social Dance will be at Aliamanu Middle School on Saturday, Nov 20. DJ is Paul Lee. Door will open at 6:30 PM to set up and we will close at 10 PM. Donations at the door will go to Aliamanu Middle School. Please bring you best Pot Luck. There is no requirement for any type of membership in any club. everyone is welcome.

These Dances are for those who can not attend events at the Ala Wai. They are not meant to replace these events. Some of us may not be able to travel all the way to the Ala Wai for some reason, but still need a place to dance and improve. Having said that, I would like to reminded everyone that IBDI will be having a dance at the Ala Wai this Saturday and I encourage everyone, who can, to go. The Ala Wai is the best place in town to dance. All Dance Clubs needs our support. We need to work together to grow and keep these clubs alive and active.
