Jeanne

Jeanne will be a regular contact with us. She has been with us from very beginning. They have asked me if she was a dancer. I tell them all she is still a dancer. At one time she went to the Mainland and won fifteen first places, with her partner Al Franz, in the Pro-Am.

There is another just like it in the Town Dancer blog too.

Some people have commented on the slant toward American Style dancing in this blog. I hadn't noticed but it sounds pretty good. American Style lends itself to conversion to Universal dancing far more easily than the "strict" International style which is a competition style dance. The main purpose in this blog, has been in styling that has evolved for the "social" dancer in all of it aspects "excluding" the exhibition and competition and all the rest of the "to be seen" styles.

The style "to be felt" is a horse of a different color. The Rootzi-Tootzis, in looking down their noses, have for a long time insisted on the difference and we concur. There is a big, big difference and getting bigger. More of us are becoming aware of this big difference so it is coming, a place to dance for Universal dancers. The others can go wherever they must to mingle with their like kind. This kind of thing will sort out by itself.
