Week, Sunday, October 16 to Saturday 22nd.

Among the six blogs I am working on, Club Dancer is now firmly in fourth place. I  have enough hits rolling in so that I can slow down, the over all hits will slow down, but I can take more time in finding the information contributors that are so important to the readership.

Many of you that read Platinum Horseshoe and Tim Cubero's blog on the Kapolei Chapter - HBDA social, will understand what is happening in these blogs. This was his viewpoint and his photos and the results were there. The hits went on a rocket to the moon and of course, they are not necessarily all HBDA members. It is dance news for all the dancers. Last month we got an email from the Philippines.

If we can get just one steady information contributor from Dance Hawaii, Dream To Dance Studio or Arthur Murray studio, we have it made in the shade for Club Dancer. Waikiki has made it plain that they just don't need us which is good enough for us. We are very busy covering an awful lot of ground. Perhaps we can try again next year.

We get flyer kine stuff from too many. The mainland, the neighbor islands and of course, Oahu. I am increasingly finding a lot of it in my Spam folder. Social Media is still what will make all these blogs and it is coming. However it looks more promising in West Oahu. Many are getting the pure understanding of the benefits to their organization with communication direct to our readers.

I will have to make more of an effort to attend more dances in town, specially now that I got my new camera. I have to make contact with more people so as to get the information contributor that we need. The hits are guaranteed to go back up. Why? The different viewpoint, and that is the importance of Social Media.
