Strictly Ballroom is Moving

For some years I had read sparks of interest in ballroom in the Windward side of Oahu, much as I had read on the Leeward side. So I thought maybe I could help and I tried to open a Windward Oahu blog some time back. Dance Hawaii acknowledged it a smidgen, HBDA and all the rest of the groups ignored it completely. When that happens, I can ignore too. Dump it!

But some people began to recognize the significance of more dance action in that sector if promoted adequately. The Kailua Movement Studio will officially become the Arthur Murray Movement Studio on August 1st! They are getting some effective thinkers there.
 
You can continue to attend every Monday night for a beginner's Group Class at 7:30pm and an Intermediate Group Class at 8:15pm.  These group classes have their own calendar so look to them for details.

Classes are $12 each for drop ins, $10 each if in packages, or FREE if you are a currently enrolled Arthur Murray student.

For those that want to get that little extra dose of Latin Dancing,  Attend every Monday at 11:30am for Zumba!  This energetic class will get you moving and feeling the music so well, that on your very next dance lesson you will feel the difference!

Debby wants you to protect and enjoy the dance floor.  Shoe wear must be floor friendly--ballroom shoes, non-marking soles, no sharp heels, check athletic shoe soles for rocks. She also pleads, no baby powder on floor.
