Chicago Spire: World's highest residence

chicagospire

The Chicago Spire is a breathtakingly simple expression of complex ideas. Building on the city's significant architectural legacy, The Chicago Spire responds to the horizontal gesture of the lake and the ribbon of the Chicago River. By day, the building will abdsorb the light of the sparkling waters and give it back to the city in gentle ripples. By night, The Chicago Spire will add its own glow to what Calatrava describes as the city's "truly moving" skyline.

At 2,000 feet, the Spire will be the world's tallest residential building and Chicago's most expensive, with units priced from $750,000 to $15 million each -- prices that clearly trump Trump Tower.
