Sorouh, Abu Dhabi UAE
Sorouh, Abu Dhabi UAE. The two focal towers frame the developments to the South with two arms opening up to the sky. These towers, which twist to provide spectacular views across the water, transition below to become two other arms of the podium. The podiums embrace the heart and focus of the project which is where the canal and loop road come together.
This space becomes a very important and prominent civic node in the Upper Village of Sorouh. The smaller towers, adjacent to the coastal promenades are more relaxed, dancing with each other on either side of the "parent" towers - designed to maximise views for the residential units.

Four-storey Building
Four-storey building which is completely recyclable, produces no emissions and is self-sufficient in terms of heating energy requirement. The completely glazed building has high quality triple glazing panels featuring a k-value of 0.4. Its design is modular.
Because of its assembly by means of mortice-and-tenon joints and bolted joints, it cannot only be assembled and dismantled easily but is also completely recyclable. The electrical energy required for the energy concept and control engineering is produced by solar cells.

Does this look like a library to you?
New Jalisco Library. WOW, so futuristic! This is definitely gonna be one of the coolest library! Boeing 727/737 fuselages are assembled parallel to one another to form an inclined stack. The stack is palced on the given site with the fuselages' length running East-West. By introducing shifts along the same direction, two large open areas are created within the stack.
The system employs the repetition of airplane fuselages to contain and support functions with more enclosed programmatic requirements, such as book collections, meeting rooms, offices, while the two open areas house the main open program with lobby, reading rooms and theaters with their independent foyer on the other.
The glass facade of the atrium is integrated with a transparent LED Display system that broadcasts the library to the plaza surrounding it and extends its functions to the outside through the display of full color imager and movies as well as text.

Hot property! Building sold out in two hours!
Cube Lofts, Toronto, Canada. The new iteration Cube (designed by Rom Colthoff and Witt while still at Quadrangle Architects and now raw design - ongoing) is one of the most exciting condominium schemes to launch in the hot Toronto market. Units have been made smaller, more in keeping with market demand and response has been fantastic - the building sold out in two hours.
Each apartment in the building is unique including some double height units that together form a dynamic yet urbane composition as a complement to the trendy neighbourhood.

Park your car at your balcony
CarLoft® is a pioneering modular loft scheme with a garden and a garage on every floor. All these brand-new luxury flats come with at least one adjacent parking space known as the CarLoggia, reached via the CarLift. When you arrive outside the building, the CarLift recognises your car from the built-in transponder and knows which floor you live on. And still seated inside your car, you're taken straight to your home in total safety.
The lofts have a modular structure. Use the CarLoft® configurator to compile the living, sleeping and optional areas just as you need them. You can design your own CarLoft® individually or with renowned interior designers.
Another highlight is the aerial garden. Each loft has its own garden laid out just as you wish - perhaps with a sandpit for your children or an illuminated pond next to an open fireplace.

The offices have been specified to a Grade A standard and apartments range from a Deluxe apartment approximately 1,019 square metres - 1,060 square metres to the President apartments which are approximately 2,155 square metres - 3,347 square metres.

Shuffle Tower, Dubai UAE
The The Shuffle Tower is a mixed used development that inspires a new kind of modern architecture that brings together the elements of residential, commercial and retail in an extremely innovative mix. "The Shuffle Tower ” design is just like the notion of mixing music on a MP3 player.
Three key elements of built forms are stack and juxtaposed to each other to create a matrix of buildings. The top element is a 129-metre residential tower whilst the middle element is a 69-metre office tower. Sharing the ocean view, both towers have high efficiency with a total of 35 floors. The lower element is a retail mall that connects the above elements. Between these forms are sky gardens and platforms that create a series of communal sky facilities floating above the beach.

Tipped as Asia’s most technologically-advanced cinemas
AMC Pacific Place Cinema, Hong Kong. The ticketing box is no longer enclosed in a conventional glass box, but is more akin to modern sculpture or the lobby of a chic boutique hotel, protruding outwards to skilfully incorporate the technology used to issue tickets. The cinema’s design has been configured so that the moment patrons enter, they will be transported to a totally new cinema experience.
The six auditoriums have a capacity for over 600 cinema-goers. AMC Pacific Place boasts Hong Kong’s best three-way SRD-EX audio system for crystal clear sound reproduction. Comfort has clearly been considered throughout the cinema’s design as each theatre has been upholstered with sumptuous French leather seats; and to top it off, it is the only cinema in town with all-in-one washrooms to guarantee the utmost comfort and privacy.
The VIP theatre provides seating for 39 and is the ultimate venue for intimate corporate receptions and private parties. All seats measure a generous 1.2 metres in width with plenty of leg room to spare. The VIP room creates a luxurious space that is clean and modern in design and feel.
James Law said “I have merged art and technology together as architects in the 21st Century have become more focused on the importance of integrating sophisticated lifestyle-touches into their design than ever before. Our aim is to create an environment that works in tandem with delivering end-users with a space that is technologically astute. AMC Pacific Place is a breakthrough project in design as the use of Cybertecture here provides audiences with the ultimate in comfort and luxury. We will continue our ambition in fusing technology with state-of-the-art architecture with our designs.”
