Liftbed

Liftbed

Liftbed is a bed when you need a bed. With the push of a button, the Liftbed glides into the ceiling and your room can be transformed into your living room. Given the rise in cost of living space, this is definitely an apt design.

Meguro office space by Nendo

nendo office

"We wanted the usual spaces and functions – meeting space, management, workspace and storage – to be separate but also to maintain a sense of connection between them. To achieve this effect we divided the space with walls that seem to sag and flop like a piece of cloth held up between two hands, enclosing the various spaces more than the usual office dividers but less than actual walls. "

"When you stand up and look through the whole space people, shelves and plants seem to appear and disappear as though floating between the waves."

One of my favourite. Love the shelves and the white furnishings. Oh! I always like the idea of having a huge wallspace where I can stick my photos and notes on (like some really cool wall decor of my own) :)

“Filo” Series presents a setting with two “Filo” wash basins fixed to the wall and the free standing versions of the toilet and the bidet. Mirror, lighting and wall drawers in a “wengè” finish.

"Splash" Series is a collection that is destined to move in a completely different environment, a stylistic exploration in a playful free form world with no limits.

All part of the interior designer collection are from “Disegno Ceramica”, Made in Italy.

Penthouse by Omer Arbel Office. Four backlit translucent white onyx clad rooms (or "pods") are distributed compositionally in 3 dimenstions within the 2 storey interior of the penthouse.

“Our eyes don’t like to deal with extreme contrast,” Ms. Tillett said. “A lot of contrast creates eye exhaustion. You want to diminish contrast in a room that people will be in for a long time.”

Bondi Wave House, by Tony Owen NDM. The house was designed to capture the spirit of Bondi in a home which is botha beach house and a stylish urban dwelling. The line of the wave is the unifying element which runs all the way through the house. The overall effect is to take a suburban block and turn it into a sculpture of water and glass.
