Mile high Eco Skyscraper for London
British firm, Popularchitecture, unveiled plans to build a skyscraper that will have 500 floors and accomodating over 100,000 people. Other than apartments in the 500 floors, there will also be public amenities, suchs as schools and hospital, shops and pubs. At the center of the structure would be a ‘vast internal void’ lit by circular openings every 20 storys. Each of these ‘holes’ would be used as either public squares or for specialist activities such as ice skating, botanic gardens or swimming pools.
