The Studios

We have to two very promising dance studios to help in town. Unfortunately, they both may not be yet aware of the possible benefits of contributing information to a blog. Advertising they know pretty well, except for the actual results.
First:  "If I stop to help this person, what will happen to me?"
But... the good Samaritan:  "If I do not stop to help this person,
what will happen to him/her?"

Both dance studios may think that the Big Big benefits of their talent, good looks, fame and fortune are too much in exchange for the meager crumbs of notice in a blog. And of course there will also be a tendency to censor what is written. But I must still try to get a few dancers to contribute some information about the dance scene.

If not them it will have to be in the Moanalua Corridor to show the example. And if not there I must go to the Platinum Horseshoe to do it there. I've got my work cut out for me. But it will be and should be done for the benefit of the dancers and not so much for the Dance Clubs, Night Clubs and Dance Studios.

The results of course will be more Dance Club members, more Night Club attendance and more Dance Studio action. Some people can think pretty clearly. Let us hope it is now.

"In The Mood" by Glenn Miller

The overall lead results on all blogs is as follows:

A terrific blogger like Calvin Ota that covers the big doings at the Palladium, Wakiki and even "Beyond Oahu." No doubt as to what keeps Town Dancer blog at the top of the heap.

Organizations such as Dance Hawaii who keep us well posted on the latest news, specially the news in West Oahu. You can see it all in the Platinum Horseshoe and the Moanalua Corridor blog. Whatever we can use for the benefit of the reader/dancers. We specifically need an information contributor for the Moanalua Corridor.

Then there is the Kapolei Chapter, HBDA, leading the way to the West. They were leading the way to the West even when they were in Waipahu. And they are doing very well indeed. They contribute good write ups by Tim Cubero Jr, photos, and with a terrific, forward looking board, they will continue to build up Ballroom Dancing all the way up and down the Waianae coast.

Can anyone imagine what they could do, if they could get a monthly dance at the Community Center just down the street. The could close the doors and people would be coming in through the windows. Wow!
