Of course, they can brow beat you but beware of talking back to them. All that about keeping it civil, Ha! You've read it, plenty of times. How understanding of them. GUI? Capiche niente tutto. They pride themselves on using the old terminal.
If they are going to help someone, that person can immediately see that these people are looking down over their noses as they tilt their head back just a little. If you say you have been working with Windows, that is their opportunity to tell you what a dumb dodo you are. If there is something you don't understand about Ubuntu you are even a Dumber Dodo.
Now I know, that there have been some, on record, who will try to help you even if it doesn't answer your question, without the sneering remarks. We may get there eventually with the right help. Ya dumb dodo.

Re: Better Changes
By Michael Reichenbach
At the forefront, is to encourage all studio operators to treat their business as a service business instead of just a sales business. Thus the industry by and large has refundable service agreements, where the quality of the service matters.
The world dance community needs to take heed. The British especially and the world dancers are quick to claim that they are the leaders in this industry. After all, they have had the champions, they hold the titles and they have exported to the world the "right" way to dance Cuba’s Rumba, America’s Swing, Brazil’s Samba, America’s Foxtrot and Argentina’s Tango. Well you get the point.
None of this to say that I am not a fan of International Style dancing, where the essence of seeing what one couple can create in movement, shape and position to music is, in my opinion, best exemplified in the Big 5.
Pub's Note: Now what is the Big 5?
“As I said before, I never repeat myself.”:-)
