Cool meeting place

Lausanne, Switzerland. Designed in collaboration with Oloom (CH). Design consideration focus on creating a space of familiarity whilst still dynamic and engaging. Driven by criteria of a central meeting point, need for seating, shade and to visually communicate with spaces outside the square.

The project evolved into a contorting 12m tree with slatted canopy surrounded by roots (Racine benches) that emanate out into different areas.
